Skyfields begins land development for new mixed-use precinct
12 December, 2025
Site preparation works have commenced on a new 26-hectare precinct that will offer mixed-use development opportunities in an unrivalled location, connected to both Tonkin Highway and Dunreath Drive.

We are progressing with our plan to turn the Airport West South precinct – now known as Dunreath Green – into a retail and lifestyle destination,” said Chief Property Officer Dan Sweet.
“Dunreath Green has excellent exposure to both Tonkin Highway and Dunreath Drive and will provide an interconnected location for large format retail, draw-card entertainment, and lifestyle attractions that cater for both visitors and Perth residents.
“This precinct expands our established retail offerings which include Costco and DFO, Dunreath Village with Woolworths and Dan Murphy’s, and the 30,000sqm Office Park within walking distance of Redcliffe Train Station.”
The new ‘Dunreath Green’ precinct is one of five distinct hubs within the 2,105 hectare Airport Estate, as Skyfields embarks on one of WA’s largest urban development projects.
Project partner RJ Vincent & Co is delivering the site preparation works for the next stage of development.
A number of other projects are also evolving across the Airport Estate which will further boost Skyfields’ $1.5 billion property portfolio, including the Pullman Perth Airport which is in the final stages of design and scheduled to begin construction in 2026. A major agreement was recently signed with Pacific Energy for their new headquarters and manufacturing facility, while a three-storey office building for Arc Infrastructure and a training facility at Epiroc’s campus are both scheduled for completion in 2026.
“With already more than 600 successfully managed leases across the estate, we are focused on growing in a considered and strategic way which will benefit our current and future partners, and continue to fuel economic growth in Western Australia,” said Mr Sweet.
“And with more than 250 hectares of developable land just 12km from the CBD, surrounded by growing residential suburbs and commercial hubs, the opportunities to diversify and offer high-quality community amenities are significant.”
